With so many worthy charities, WHY JUSTICE INDUSTRIES?

Approximately less than 3% of nonprofits focus on issues of employment.

“Most agencies deliver food and shelter to help the impoverished get past a crisis,” explains Tom Swain, Justice Industries volunteer. “Justice Industries creates businesses that train, support and employ the chronically unemployed—like the often quoted axiom: ‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.’ It is a beautiful thing to see people gain the independence that having a job can give you from earning income and gaining life skills.”
